Ignite the Flame of Courage,
and Create the Future Beyond Challenges.
What I Aim For
My goal is to nurture companies that can surpass 1 billion yen in annual e‑commerce sales. Only about 1% of companies reach this milestone, but those that do encounter a turning point in management and have the potential to achieve growth of up to 5 billion yen in annual sales while integrating with their offline business.
I have personally managed e‑commerce companies and experienced the journey of surpassing 1 billion yen in revenue.
Drawing on this experience, my mission is to accompany companies on their journey so that they can grow sustainably and take on global challenges, guided by the purpose of developing people, growing companies, and enriching society.
Throughout this process, I place great value on trust-based partnership and building self-sustaining organizations. I believe that true growth is not just measured in numbers, but in guiding organizations to become self-reliant while walking alongside them.

My Roots and Purpose

February 2013
With the Owner of an Idemitsu Authorized Dealership
I was born as the son of a udon restaurant owner and grew up watching my father work tirelessly for his customers every single day. However, when I was 15, my father suddenly passed away.
Experiencing firsthand the impact on employees and customers when a business leader is suddenly gone left a deep impression on me.
“I want to support business owners, so no one is left like my father was.”
This desire forms the foundation of my journey.
At Idemitsu Kosan, I was responsible for supporting the management of authorized dealerships, where I learned the fundamentals of business and the importance of people-centered management.
Afterwards, I worked at an independent consulting firm and then at Amazon Japan as an e‑commerce consultant, participating in numerous challenges and projects.
The Power and Challenges of E‑Commerce
At Amazon, I experienced a world where innovation is part of everyday life. The company’s relentless speed, obsession with results, and the game-changing power of e‑commerce left a lasting impression on me. E‑commerce is not just another sales channel—it is a driver of business transformation. Behind revenue growth lies improvements across the entire supply chain, which in turn enhance productivity and the capabilities of people.
However, the world of e‑commerce presents three major challenges:
High Barriers to Entry – E‑commerce requires specialized skills, and mid-sized and small companies attempting it on their own face a high risk of failure. Success rates are said to be below 20%, and some companies withdraw after just a few months.
The “100 Million Yen Wall” – 90% of e‑commerce operators generate less than 100 million yen in annual sales. Overcoming this barrier requires not only operational improvements but also strategic management and financial planning—support that few companies can provide comprehensively.
Declining Quality and Ethics of Support Providers – More advisory services have become superficial or package-based. Many operate on advertising-agency-style fee structures, which are not always in the best interest of the client companies.
E‑commerce is a powerful tool for Japanese companies to compete globally, with the potential to change the game at a strategic level. Yet, for many companies, the barriers to entry are high, and achieving sustainable growth remains rare.
This is why I founded Meets Consulting.
We understand the entire business, provide tailored support for each company, and approach challenges from a perspective of overall optimization.
Together, we help Japan’s mid-sized and small enterprises surpass 1 billion yen in e‑commerce sales, leap toward 5 billion, and take on the global stage.
COMMIT
Meets Consulting’s Mission

We aim to support companies both strategically and operationally, helping them achieve repeatable, sustainable growth.
This is what we mean by acting as an “e‑commerce doctor” for our clients.
Rather than offering superficial recommendations, we provide hands-on support based on data and on-the-ground insights, building a system for growth within each company.
We believe that supporting the challenges of individual businesses will, in turn, energize local communities and ultimately strengthen Japan as a whole.
FUTURE
The Future We Envision

We envision a future where Japan’s mid-sized and small enterprises surpass 1 billion yen in e‑commerce sales, leap toward 5 billion, and take on the global stage.
E‑commerce is the most practical and powerful tool for Japanese companies to compete internationally.
We stand alongside courageous business leaders taking that first step,
providing execution experts right beside them.
As more companies rise to the challenge, we believe Japan itself will become stronger and more vibrant.
This is the purpose and meaning of Meets Consulting.
The challenges of companies can shape Japan’s future.
Standing alongside them on the front lines, every step of the way—
this is my mission.
